Many local restaurants and grills are located right beside the market, offering to cook your chosen seafood on the spot, ensuring the freshest possible dining experience.



Towering above the harbor are Essaouira's magnificent ramparts. These ancient fortifications not only offer a glimpse into the city's strategic past but also provide breathtaking panoramic views. It's an absolutely incredible spot to watch the sun dip below the vast Atlantic Ocean, often casting a golden glow over the distant ruins of Castelo Real de Mogador.
